Up Coming Show!

Quick info:  I will be having a show in October!  I will spill the details closer to time.  I can't wait.

A few weeks ago I took some great pictures of the Black-eyed Susans in our front yard (I think that is what they are) with the intention of painting them.  I love, LOVE to paint daisies or these Black-eyed Susans.
I went a bit crazy and did an abstract kind, which I really like!
They were just such great photos that I knew I could get a lot of painting done from them.

Then last weekend at on of our fellow cabin dwellers I received permission to snap a few FABULOUS photos to possibly paint.  I can't wait to start some.
Don't you just LOVE this window!

Great still life subjects.

I also went to my garden to find all of this produce and possible painting.

Yesterday I started this quick little B.E.S on an 8x10 canvas board.  This morning, since I couldn't sleep finished it.  I love it.

This sweet butterfly I finished yesterday too, a commission!

The Portfolio Grows

I seem to be on a roll to finish paintings but I have a goal.  I am going to show for the entire month of October at The Canebrake in Wagoner, so I have walls to fill.
